Fischer Landscapes began in December 2016 with nothing but determination and a dream. Our founder, a college student at the time, had just $200 to his name when he started knocking on doors in a snow-covered Michigan neighborhood, asking residents if they’d be interested in lawn care services for the spring. Despite the season and the strange looks he received, this unconventional approach paid off. By the following spring, he and his business partner had a respectable roster of clients. They spent their summers mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, laying mulch, and learning everything they could about landscaping. This hands-on experience, coupled with their drive to constantly improve, became the foundation for what Fischer Landscapes is today.
Over the years, Fischer Landscapes grew from a summer side hustle into a full-fledged business serving hundreds of residential and commercial clients across Metro Detroit. The journey wasn’t always smooth. After graduating college in 2020 during a global pandemic, the founder faced a tough job market and returned to landscaping to support himself. That experience reinforced his belief in hard work, integrity, and the importance of building something meaningful. Today, Fischer Landscapes reflects these values, blending a passion for the outdoors with a commitment to exceptional service. Whether it’s a simple lawn maintenance job or a complex landscape transformation, we treat every project with care and dedication, helping our clients create outdoor spaces they love.
