The customer wanted a fresh, creative design that would complement their home and be easy to maintain over time. We got to work by incorporating both functional and aesthetically pleasing elements, resulting in a beautiful landscape that’s as low-maintenance as it is visually striking.
We began by constructing a garden retaining wall that stretched all the way from the side yard to the front porch, giving the space definition and structure. The retaining wall not only helps manage the landscape’s slope but also serves as a key feature in organizing the garden layout. For the area under the dogwood tree, we had fun with design creativity, choosing a variety of shady perennials in different colors—blues, greens, and purples—to create a calming, beautiful retreat.
We also installed a bistro table set on a stone pad, surrounded by the perennials, providing a cozy space for relaxation. The final result is a well-balanced and engaging landscape that brings personality to the property while maintaining ease of care.
